Ioannes looked at Silus and smiled a little, seeming like he wanted to say something, but didn't because Atellus was there.

Atellus had that kind of air about him, somewhat chilly and not exactly...right. Caia noticed the way that he made Ioannes uncomfortable, that in itself was pretty hard to do, and she'd never liked anyone that had accomplished the fact. She bowed her head a little
"So cousin, what do you think about going for a walk in the square?" She asked softly, she hadn't abandoned her plans for chaos, but Ioannes would most likely be helpful on that front, not to mention it would get him away from this Atellus man. Ioannes gave a grateful grin and nodded
"That sounds wonderful. C'mon Caia, Optio..." He stated, taking them both by the arm and rushing them away from Atellus. Caia peered over her shoulder to see him watching them go with anger in his eyes. She glanced at her cousin and frowned a little
"Ioannes, what's going on? Who is that?" She hissed. Ioannes looked at her, before frowning and pulling them into an antechamber lined with bookshelves. He shut the portal door and shushed them as footsteps made their way down the hall. When the sound could no longer be heard, he turned, leaning against the door.
"What in the name of the fates is going on, Ioannes."
"That man. There's something evil about him. I don't know why, but he's been following me around for weeks...."

OOC: I haven't the faintest where I am going with this. Feel free to interject with actual plot at any time. XD;;

"He's wrong, you know," she said, then looked from Caia to Ioannes. "You're right about the evil, of course. You can know that. You should know that. But, if you'll pardon my speaking out of turn, Dominus, I know how evil tastes better than either one of you. You see, my people are from there."

She glanced back the way they had come. "Your nasty senatorial friend there doesn't smell right, not for you. For me, he stinks of sulfur and blood. I believe I know exactly what he is, if not who. You're good and he's either drawn to that or to your ichor. Well, as you would know, that's not hard to spot. All peaches and honey, you are."

She thought hard, leaning against the wall. Atellus was, without a doubt, one of hers. She'd gotten a good scent on him and she knew what that kind of stench meant. What she couldn't figure out was the how or the why. She wasn't like the rest of her people; most of the high demons she dealt with for the most part weren't likely to come up and play espionage as a common solider or even a senator for longer than a few weeks. They would get bored. Evil is difficult to conduct when one must follow protocol. Of course, there were some with her stubbornness. But by the way he was following a god, well. That marked him as high up in the hierarchy. Only those demons could hope to do anything to a god of any sort.

"What will you do?" she asked them.

Ioannes sighed and rubbed his big blue eyes tiredly, a few stress lines appearing on his youthful face
"I haven't the first clue on how to react to this, honestly. He's always been polite and sweet to my face...sometimes I'll catch him staring at me in the middle of a senate meeting." He muttered, Caia looked at him for a moment, frowning a little
"Ioannes, have you ever considered that maybe this man is infatuated with you?" She asked softly, Ioannes paused, glancing at his cousin and frowning
"I don't know. Something tells me it isn't that simple." He paused and looked at Silus. "Optio, you were saying something about your people being from 'there'? Where exactly?" He asked, his eyes running over the shorter man curiously. Caia glanced at her friend and gave a comforting smile. She had her suspicions, and it didn't bother her in the least. But Silus seemed to think it was best to keep it to himself, so she hadn't pushed it.
Ioannes, on the other hand, had a strictly good ancestry, and he wasn't particularly in tune with the darker aspects of the world.

Caia gave a heavy sigh and brushed a lock of hair out of her face, wandering towards her cousin and giving a half smile
"Ioannes, why don't we just forget about this for now. I'm sure if we talk to grandfather later, he'll have some ideas on how to deal with this, I'm sure." She stated, squeezing his arm affectionately. He gave a small sigh and nodded
"Alright. You've brought a good point..." He admitted softly, Caia grinned
"In the mean time, my friend Silus and I were planning on creating some mischief, are you interested in helping us?" She asked, Ioannes glanced at her, perking a brow slowly
"I might be persuaded to help. What did you have in mind?" He asked, his lips curling up into an attractive smirk. Caia shrugged and glanced at Silus
"I'm not sure we've planned that far ahead." She muttered, Ioannes shrugged and turned, opening the door
"That's fine, I'm sure we'll--"

Caia peered by her cousin, blinking in confusion. The hall was dark, as if the sun had been doused, one could not, in fact see out of the windows. There was a strange red glow to everything and a thick fog hung like smoke in the air. Caia narrowed her eyes and glanced back at Silus. Her face was alert and suspicious, while her eyes sparkled in alarm
"Do you smell blood, Optio?" She asked softly, then without waiting for an answer, she slipped by Ioannes and wandered out of the study. He paled and went to reach for her, to pull her back into the only room within sight that seemed unaffected, before thinking twice and retracting his hand
"Caia! Must you always barge in head first without thinking?" He hissed after her. He seemed terrified at this occurrence, and completely out of his element. Caia glanced back at him, frowning
"Just...just stay there for a minute, Ioannes." She muttered, before taking a few more steps and slipping, falling into the wall. She blinked in confusion and leaned down, slipping her hand into the thick mist.

Running her fingers over the marble floor, she noticed the stone was a lot more slick then it should be, she drew her hand back, frowning slightly at the bright crimson staining her fingers.

A chill ran down her spine and she hurriedly wiped the blood off her hand, before turning and wandering back towards the door. She gave Ioannes and Silus a serious look, her shoulders tense and her brows drawn
"We have to figure out what's going on. And now." She hissed, before grabbing Ioannes' hand and pulling him out of the room. He gave a feminine squeak and tried to latch onto the door frame and pull himself back into the room, but Caia's grip didn't falter and he was propelled into the bizarre scene. He gave a shudder and looked around with frightened eyes. His appearance looked much like a pursued bunny rabbit, and if Caia hadn't been so preoccupied, she might have laughed.
"What in the name of all that is holy..." He muttered, Caia shook her head slightly, just barely starting to look concerned
"I don't have the first idea..."

OOC: Ok, so I have an idea. I do not know where it came from, but I like it, so I'm gonna run with it, if you don't mind. <3

Also: I was thinking about what Nova said about Atellus, and I sorta like the idea of him being a Judeo-Christian Demon. The thing is, I don't know a whole lot about that cannon. I was thinking of making him be a descendant (either a son or grandson) of Astaroth or Berith. I'm thinking Astaroth would be more appropriate, given their somewhat similar appearances (and personalities) but I wanted your opinion. :3

So yeah. I hope College be going well, sweetie. <33

OOC: Well, as I seem to be our resident expert on recreated Hellish society, I'll give this one a go. The Berith that Nova knows, despite being a high demon and general, is kind of a door mat. That is, he's good at his job but he has trouble taking initive and decisions make him nervous. Astaroth is a much more demonic demon. He's a real dick too, and would probably make a great dad for Mr. Atellus. Let's role with that.

Anything else I should know about your idea before I post?

OOC: Yeah, the only thing that worries me about that is that Atellus isn't going to turn out evil. (ffff, spoiler.) He's just a little...odd. He'll have his sweet side, like the way he treats Ioannes isn't fake, and then he could flip and rage around. I guess you could say he's a little bipolar. XD I like the idea of Astaroth being his daddeh, I just don't want him to turn out to be the exact opposite of his dad or somethin. I dunno. XD

Other then that? There's another Npc coming. D; Kill me. <3

OOC: Right, well, that works for me. Let's do it.

She came in behind the other two and breathed in deeply through her nose. The coppery stench of blood was everywhere, but so was a very slight sulfur undertone and the musky scent that she'd always associated with humans of a male persuasion. Not necessarily humans, though. She knew plenty of her kind that smelled that way. Carefully, attempting not to disturb anything, she walked past Ioannes and hunkered down in the middle of the floor. The stickiness didn't bother her as she rubbed the blood between her fingers. Its texture seemed normal. Carefully, she placed her bloody fingers to her tongue and tasted the fluid. Salt, something spicy, and a touch of bite. Interesting.

She looked up at Caia and Ioannes, then stood, wiping her fingers on her tunic. "I think we can all agree that this isn't normal," she said. "I suppose that's obvious?" She rolled her shoulders and cursed herself for not bringing her weaponry. "Let us go find your senatorial friend. I assume he has something to do with this."

Caia nodded a little, taking Ioannes by the arm
"Silus is right, we should look for other people trapped in this...thing." She stated, gently pulling him forward. Ioannes took a deep breath, trying to calm his jittered nerves. Caia gave him a soothing smile and led him over to Silus, looking at her shorter friend expectantly.
"Silus, maybe you should...stay behind us. Being unarmed and all..." She stated, something sparkling in her eyes. She knew Silus would reject the idea. She released Ioannes' hand and wandered forward, leaving the blonde standing there looking horrified, before hurrying after her.
"Caia, do you think this is such a good idea? Maybe we should go back to the room and--"
"And what, Ioannes? Wait for rescue? I think I can safely say the chances of that are pretty slim." She stated, casting him a glance. He frowned a little and nodded.
"I know...just...hopeful musing, I suppose." He whispered, Caia smiled a little, sliding her hand against the wall to keep her balance. The amount of light was slowly getting less and less the farther they ventured down the hall. Ioannes hung close to Caia, peering through the darkness with his face scrunched in irritation. Caia paused, perking her head as the slightest whisper made it's way into her thoughts. She frowned, straining to hear more to no avail. She frowned a little, looking annoyed with herself, before trekking on.

Suddenly, there was a high pitched laughter, and Caia jumped, slipping on the slick floor and falling to her knees. Ioannes crouched next to her worriedly as the shrill sound bounced off the marbled walls.
"My my, some pious little children have come out to play! Oh goody, this is going to be so much fun! Here I was just hoping to ensnare that scrumptious Greek boy, and I get a pretty little demon and a plump half succubus. Oh my luck is lovely. I will be eating well tonight." The body-less voice called from what seemed to be everywhere. Caia narrowed her eyes as Ioannes set a shaking hand on her arm. The voice was definetly male, and leaking with insanity. She looked at Ioannes in a concerned manner
"Caia, are you ok?" He whispered, she nodded stiffly and stood up, ignoring the blood streaking down her legs
"I'm fine. Now shh." She whispered, he rolled his eyes a little
'Sorry to be worried.' He mouthed, Caia ignored him and wandered forward, pausing outside a sleek black door. Caia glanced over her shoulder at Ioannes
"What's in here?" She hissed, he wandered closer, a thoughtful frown on his face.
"It's just a storage room..." He replied, the laughter returned, seeming heartily amused at this
"Or is it, my delicious boy?" The voice mused, Caia frowned and carefully gave the door a push.

It swung open to reveal a dim room slightly reminiscent to a medieval throne room. There was a candle flickering in the corner, next to a thick wooden throne. There was a male figure draped acrossed it, seemingly gazing at them though the dark made it hard to tell. Ioannes stiffened, his eyes narrowing angrily
"Atellus, this is enough!. You've had your fun, now let us GO." He growled, Caia looked at him, frowning a little.

There was a light chuckle and the figure shifted
"Atellus? Aw, how sweet. You think I'm your odd little demon boy?" The voice asked, before laughing again "I think it's safe to assume you're wrong." There was a pause and suddenly several candles around the room flickered to life. The new light in the room allowed the godlings to see the person in the throne for the first time. He was tall and petite, with blood red hair and black as night eyes. He was handsome, but had a certain...chilling quality to him that made it hard to hold eye contact for too long. He gave a poisonous smile and tipped his head, sending his crimson hair astray "As you can see, I am clearly not your deluded senatorial friend, my darling boy."

Caia narrowed her eyes dangerously
"Then who in the hell ARE you. And why are we HERE." She demanded. The redhead's eyes flickered onto her and he smirked, looking her up and down, licking his lips slightly
"Simple, precious. I am Theocritus, son of Chaos and Apate, you are here because I find you interesting. Well, your beautiful male friend at least." He stated, before pausing and giving a cold smile "Then again, now that you and your pretty friend that feels it necessary to dress as a man are here...well, lets just say, I'm not disappointed in the least." He added, giving Silus a seductive wink. Ioannes blinked in confusion and looked at the Optio, perking an eyebrow slightly, but deciding not to question it at the moment. Caia gave a frustrated growl
"When are you going to let us go and what will it take?" She spat, Theocritus smiled a little,
"Precious...who said anything about letting you go?"

OOC: Augh, brain, is, melting. I think this post makes sense, if not, forgive me. <3

OOC: I'm gonna have to let Nova be Nova for a bit. Can we pretend they have really SHITTY memories? Or maybe we can deal with that later. You know, like...plot-wise. Some forget-y thing? We'll figure that out later.
---

She folded her arms and stepped up to stand beside Caia. Her jaw worked for half a second, and then she spat at Theocritus' feet. The gob missed his sandled feet by about half an inch. Despite growing up in a world populated mainly by psychos, she'd never gotten the taste for creeps like this one. "So, Domina, Dominus," she said, almost casually, looking at her companions. "I personally believe that this," here she jerked her chin towards the man on the throne, "is a waste of our time. Do you agree? Yes, I see you do. Now, if you don't mind, I shall try to get him to stop, do you think?"

She cracked her neck, then her fingers. "Theo," she said, smiling with her lips and teeth, but not her eyes. "May I call you Theo? Theocritus is just to cumbersome on the tongue, wouldn't you agree? Yes, well, I think so. Theo, I couldn't care less that you're interested in me and my friends here. Really, you're simply that far beneath my interest." She tapped one foot on the floor, squaring her shoulders while remaining perfectly casual looking. She examined her nails. "However, you are in my way. I do not like things that get in my way. So why don't you simply hand over my man and let us go? Or, if you'd like, I can burn you like a sacrifice to the gods. Whichever you prefer." She gave him a wide smile, showing rows of shark-like teeth.

OOC: Yeah, we'll think of something. I'm not worried. :3 Maybe being in the illusion and overcoming it causes short term memory loss? XD Or maybe they both forget? Dunno, but Caia still doesn't know exactly who Nova is. She still knows her as Silus. Maybe something happens that causes Nova to forget? Because as long as Nove doesn't say her exact name, I don't think Caia will put two and two together. Though it might be interesting for them to put it together in a future thread.

PS- Just realized that Theocritus would be Rynx's nephew. Lulz. XD

---
Theocritus smiled at Silus, tipping his head a little
"What a feisty temper you have, I like it. But, my darling little demon, I am afraid that I cannot comply with either of your requests. See, letting you go isn't going to satisfy me, and killing me would only trap you here forever. But I'd be happy to listen to any other ideas you may come up with." Theocritus stated, he watched Silus for a moment, before his lips curled into a cruel smirk "As for your man? Taneli? I'm afraid he caused a bit of trouble when he arrived the first time, and I had to restart his little...test. With a couple little adjustments. I'm a little glad you hadn't run into any of them, actually, it might have delayed your arrival indefinitely." The redhead paused for a second, seeming amused "A shame, really, but I don't see him arriving any time soon. I have high regards for my little adjustments, you see, and honestly, I don't think a poor little demon such as your friend could fight against them."
Ioannes narrowed his eyes, and caught Caia by the arm as she tried to go stalking past him. She fought against him and Theocritus laughed joyfully "Oh lovely, what beautiful spirit you present, my darling half succubus. It shall be so much fun to reduce you all to naught but willing, faithful servants."
Caia paused, looking up at Theocritus and narrowing her eyes dangerously
"If you touch them..." She growled, the man gave her a sleek smile
"You'll do what, precious?" He questioned in a soft purr. Caia pulled her arm away from Ioannes roughly and stalked forward, surpassing Silus and marching right up to Theocritus. She bent down so her nose was inches from his and gave a sinister smile
"I will break every bone in your body, one by one, and then skin you alive." She hissed. Theocritus gave her an adoring look and a smile
"Sounds like fun, my darling..." He stated, before tipping his head away and looking at the ground. Ioannes noticed the way his face fell and his eyes became furious, he stepped forward worriedly
"Caia--"
His voice caused his cousin to look over her shoulder and Theocritus struck. He let off a wave of red energy, sending Caia sprawling onto the floor. Her head struck the stone with a sickening 'crack' and Ioannes paled, rushing forward. He looked down at her, his baby blues observing her condition carefully. She looked back up at him, her eyes seeming dazed and a bit pained. Theocritus gave a giggle, his hair seeming a little more vibrant
"Oh don't worry. She'll be ok in a bit. Maybe. If I don't suck out a bit more of her life essences before then. Quite delicious if I may say so myself. A wonderful blend of darkness and anger." He stated merrily, smacking his lips a bit. Ioannes squeezed Caia's shoulder gently, before standing and looking at Theocritus, his eyes raging
"Let us GO." He growled, stepping forward. Theocritus grinned a little
"Or?" He asked in amusement, tipping his head to the side, Ioannes narrowed his eyes
"Or I'll--"
The door slammed open and Atellus stumbled in, holding a bent candelabra and covered in blood. Theocritus glanced over, perking an eyebrow
"You got by my friends, Taneli? I'm impressed. And a little angered. I'll have to create better creatures next time." He muttered, Atellus narrowed his eyes and stumbled forward, holding the candelabra with shaking hands
"Y-you bastard." He choked, Theocritus smiled a little
"Taneli, you're lucky that is a technicality or I'd finish your pathetic excuse for a life force off." He spat, Atellus growled and started forward in determination, only to stumble and fall onto Silus. As the pair fell to the ground, Theocritus sighed softly
"You simpletons are beginning to wear on my patience."

Atellus blinked, wincing a bit in pain, before looking at Silus. His eyes widened slightly
"P-princess?" He whispered, before rushing to stand. He held out a hand and help her to her feet. "What are you doing here?"
Theocritus sighed softly
"You lot are starting to bore me. Maybe I should finish Ms. Succubus off..." He muttered thoughtfully, Ioannes growled and started forward angrily.
"Leave her alone!!" He shouted, Theocritus glanced up and perked a fiery brow, smirking a little.
"Now this is more like it." He muttered, before shifting in his throne and leaning forward. He gave Ioannes a seductive grin, licking his lips a little. "Tell me, beautiful. What will you give me if I leave her alone?" He asked, reaching out his palm. A tendril of red energy wound its way to the floor, creeping along the stone in the flighty pattern of smoke. It reached Caia quickly, as Ioannes watched it with wide eyes. It slipped into her skin and she jerked, her eyes shutting in pain. Theocritus hummed in pleasure, his hair brightening even more and his eyes fluttering closed. Ioannes growled and marched forward, grabbing him by his velvet tunic and tossing him to the floor.
"LEAVE HER ALONE." He roared, Theocritus blinked, his concentration breaking. The energy dissipated instantaneously and Caia snapped awake with a shriek. Ioannes' attention snapped onto her and he rushed to her side
"Caia? Are you ok?" He asked, Caia blinked, sitting up. She gave a nod, ignoring the blood trickling down her temple.
"I...I think so. I feel a little funny..." She whispered, Ioannes frowned, wiping the blood away with his thumb. His attention was on his cousin, and he didn't see Theocritus recover and stand, his eyes leaking in rage. He glared at Ioannes and reached into his cloak, retracting a long thin blade, sparkling with fresh blood. Atellus' eyes widened and he stood, releasing Silus and rushing forward as Theocritus neared Ioannes and raised his arm, preparing to strike. Caia caught sight of him and her eyes widened, causing Ioannes to turn questioningly, only a fraction of a second too late. He saw Theocritus, and the blade and paled a bit, preparing himself for the blow, shutting his eyes and waiting for the wound. It never came.

He cracked an eye open to see Atellus standing above him as a shield, the dagger was buried deeply in his upper chest. Theocritus stared at him for a moment, before smirking widely
"Not what I had intended, but amusing enough." He stated, releasing the dagger and returning to his throne. Atellus stared into space, paling in shock, before falling to his knees. Ioannes caught him easily as he fell to the floor and stared down at him with wide eyes
"What...why did you do that, you MORON." He seethed, glaring down at his peer with angry blue eyes. "Atellus, if we get out of here, I am going to KILL YOU."
Atellus smiled slightly, blood staining his simple white tunic. He stared up at Ioannes in adoration. Reaching up with a shaking hand, he placed his fingers against the blonde's cheek, accidentally streaking blood across the pale flesh. He gave a weak smile
"My name is Taneli..." He whispered hoarsely. Caia watched the exchange, before narrowing her eyes and standing.
"I am fucking pissed now." She spat, wandering over to the pair and gently pulling the dagger out of Taneli's chest. He winced in pain and Ioannes looked up at her accusingly
"What are you doing!?" He demanded, she glanced down at him, her deep blue eyes sparkling sadly. She gave a half smile and patted her cousin on the head. Shifting her grip on the hilt of the blade, she looked up at Theocritus, who smirked in anticipation.
"I'm getting us out of here."

OOC: If you want Theo to do something to Nova, feel free to control him. I dun wanna hog all the action. XD;

And Jeez this post is HUGE. DX Forgive me, eh?

OOC: I like a combo of memory loss/erasure and being forgetful. We'll figure it out. This is gonna be a lot shorter than yours as I've only got my girl to work with. No NPCs, you know?
---

She was done. She was tired of this act, this human facade, this fake life. She felt helpless and stupid and wrong and she hated it. She stepped forward, seizing Taneli by the arm, her claws digging into his flesh. He was a demon and that was a dagger and she wasn't really going to fuss over him because it wasn't as though he was going to die. Instead, she spoke quietly to him in Hellish. "My friend," she whispered. "Sit, before you lose too much blood to stand any longer. Do nothing. Stay back for now; you have injured yourself enough as it is. Keep the senator from getting himself hurt. Can you do that for me?" She didn't wait for an answer. "Very good." She pushed him to the floor and stepped forward to stand beside Caia. Theocritus looked at her as she put one hand on Caia's shoulder and the other on the blade.

"Give that to me," she said, taking it out of the woman's hands. "Of the four of us, I believe that I am the one who should be holding the weapon. Not to say that I do not believe you have skill, it's simply that I know I have more." She tossed the dagger lightly into the air and leaned towards Caia to whisper in her ear.

"Also, I am as yet uninjured and in addition to this weapon, I have teeth and claws and a nasty streak a mile long. Let me take this one. You get your head together."

She took a step forwards. "You're a fool," she said. "A fool, a sad little king of nothing at all, wrapped up in your own empty, wild, useless mind." She shot him a toothy smile. "I believe I can help you."

Theocritus leaned forward, smirking. "Do you now? How heroic of you. What do you plan to do?"

She looked at the dagger. "Mostly, I plan to stab this into your ugly face repeatedly," she said casually. She glanced over her shoulder at the demon. "Taneli," she said. "Do tell Caia that she should come up with a plan while I distract His Madness, all right?"

She turned back to Theocritus. "Very nice, don't you think?" she said with a grin, then leapt at him, all teeth and claws and blood lust, eyes wild, dagger raised. She hoped she could buy them enough time.

OOC: Me and my NPCs eh? -fail- If you want, you can take Taneli or Ioannes, but only if you want. :3
---
Ioannes pulled himself away from Taneli, reaching down and ripping his tunic. The raven haired man glanced over at Silus, as a garbled noise floated through the air. He nodded a little as Ioannes tied the scrap tightly around his wound, he glanced at him and smiled
"Thank you, Canus...I'll be fine now..." He whispered, before sitting up carefully. Ioannes gave him a worried look, before looking at his ruined tunic and frowning, pulling it off and tossing the scrap of cloth aside. His torso was pale and broad, with a small scar under his collarbone. He looked at Taneli and smiled
"It's Ioannes." He stated, before standing and wandering over to Caia. She looked up from watching Silus and Theocritus, to give him a grim look. He frowned,
"Got any ideas?" He whispered, she shrugged a little. Taneli appeared next to them, nodding slightly
"She said to think of something..."

Caia sighed, running her fingers through her dark hair
"Everyone says think of something, but no one gives any ideas." She muttered to herself, she sighed, scrunching her eyes in thought. The trail of blood was mostly drying and her eyes seemed more lucid.
"We need to find...someway to break this illusion. If it's purely in his mind, then it might be difficult or even impossible, but if it's some sort of parallel plane or dimension." She mused, Ioannes perked an eyebrow and sighed
"Well, I vote for the plan that is based on the possibility of escape." He stated, Taneli nodded in agreement, breaking his gaze away from the fighting duo
"I agree. Got any plans?" He questioned, Caia sighed softly
"Well, if this is a parallel dimension, there's got to be a portal. And being an Illusion, there's gotta be some sort of power source." She paused and looked at the two, frowning "Am I making any sense? Because I feel like that bump to my head sucked out my capacity for logical thought."

Theocritus laughed merrily and dodged Silus' blow.
"Oh my pretty demon, didn't I tell you that if I die, you'd all be stuck here for an eternity?" He asked, reaching out and petting her hair gently. He turned, and started to wander away, a laugh catching him. "Besides, if you want to die, I'd much rather put you out of your misery with a bit of pleasure first."

OOC: Ffff. Brain is not coming up with a way to get out. Ideas?

She reached out and seized his wrist, twisting it up against his chest and bringing him close to her, face to face. The tip of her dagger dug into the soft flesh above his pelvis. "Oh, I don't have to kill you, love," she hissed, grinning too wide. "I know a hundred thousand ways to hurt you and still keep you breathing. I was planning on playing with you for a while, unless you'd just like to tell me how we leave now so I don't have to carve you up like a roasted pig."

She pulled him even closer to her. "You see, my fine little king, where I come from, we say hello by ripping out someone's spleen." Not looking away from Theocritus, she called, "Taneli, have they discovered something useful for me to do yet?"

OOC: Wow, short, lame, AND late. I am so sorry.

OOC:just as a stalker of this thread I came up with an idea.
A: There could be a way of seeing the split in dimension in his eyes, Like one half (one eye) is in one dimension, the other is in the dimension they're in.
B: Pain would disrupt his thought process and might be all the slip they need to break the rift open. Or maybe, some sort of sense that he wouldn't expect?
C: Make a deal with him? And then totally trash it after?

Caia looked between Ioannes and Taneli, a frown on her face. She sighed and began pacing.
"It's got to be an illusion, we weren't aware of a dimensional change, there would have been a jolt, like teleporting." She mused, Ioannes gave Taneli a fearful look, but the demon was watching Silus
"She's still thinking, princess. Can you keep stalling?" He asked, Caia ignored them all and kept pacing
"If this is an illusion, there has to be an anchor. Something...something..." She sighed and went to clutch her locket. It helped her think. Except her hand closed over air. Caia paused and looked down, comprehending that her locket wasn't there. She kept herself calm and looked around. Ioannes frowned
"What is it, Mei?" He asked softly, reaching out and putting a hand on her shoulder. She looked at him with wide eyes
"My locket it. It...it's gone. Did you see it? Do you see it??!" She squeaked, desperately trying not to panic. Ioannes's eyes softened in understanding.
"Mei...maybe you--"
Taneli turned to them, his good arm on his wound. His chilly eyes were scrunched in thought
"Caia, was it?" He asked, she nodded, biting her lip. Taneli pointed at Theocritus's chest, where there was a glitter of metal. A small drop shaped locket draped around his neck, "Is that your locket?"

Caia's eyes widened, then slowly narrowed as she stepped forward, obviously intending to recover her necklace, Ioannes caught her around the chest
"Oh no you don't, Mei. You're unarmed and injured." He stated, Caia struggled.
"Ioannes let me GO. He's got my LOCKET. I-It's the only thing I have left of--"
"I know Mei. Hush." He stated, Caia paused, going limp
"...Why would he steal my locket? What possible use..." Her eyes widened and she looked at Taneli as Ioannes blinked in confusion. Taneli nodded slightly, understanding immediately and turned to Silus
"Princess, the locket. It's an anchor."

Theocritus gave an irritated roll of his eyes, batting away Silus's attack
"For the love of--" He broke off and sighed in frustration
"You two stop your gargling and growling! It's the most atrocious noise I've ever heard." He snapped, before looking at Silus and perking an eyebrow, giving a seductive smile
"Now, my precious little demon, what is next?"
---
OOC: Kinda like this idea. Dunno. Let me know if it's actually really stupid and I'm too tired to tell.
