Nivek also felt that a swim would be good, he hoped the water was warm, even warm water is very refreshing. But before he jumped in the water he took off his shirt, even though he knew caia could dry that off to he hated the feeling of a white T-shirt getting wet and sticking to him, there was just something odd about it.

He dived in nearly not as gracefully as caia or siik but it suited its purpose. It was sort of weird that he liked the water because his powers were almost the opposite from it.

Caia grinned and gave Siikriiti a wink, and dodged as Nivek dived into the water. She gave a soundless laugh and flashed him a thumbs up, before kicking off the bottom and surfacing, kicking her head back and causing a spray of water as her hair flipped over the back of her head. She gave a breathless laugh, her face splitting in a beautiful grin of pure joy. She treaded water, running a hand over her face and waiting until her companions surfaced. She splashed Nivek and caught him right in the face, giving a giggle. She smiled and looked between Nivek and Siikriiti
"So, Siik, I know you're from Finland, whereabouts? And Nivek, where are you from?" She asked, dipping lower so the water lapped around her chin. She gave another grin and tipped her head to the side "And what brings you here?"

OOC: I am so sorry, this post is horrible, but I've had a rather bad night and I wanted to post SOMETHING at least. <3

Siik swam around a bit, enjoying the weightless feeling water gives, and not enjoying the fact her jeans were weighing her down a bit. They really were rather obnoxious things to swim in; denim was very heavy when it got wet, and rather rough as well. Stupid material.

'You know, you could just take them off. Seriously. Caia's wearing a bathing suit, and that's practically the same thing.' Siik's mind was trying to embarrass her, she just knew it. She had always felt a little weird with other people seeing more than a normal amount of skin; she didn't really know why. The smaller, less modest part of her mind muttered, 'Your shirt is see-through now anyway; that's what you get for jumping into a pond with a white t-shirt on.' True, true. Damn. Siik made a resolution to only put her head and shoulders out of the water until Caia dried her off. Piffle to that other part of her mind.

To change the subject in her brain, it seemed, Caia brought up the one of heritage, and purposes. Siik took this out, and smiled at Caia. "I'm from Sortavala. It's in Finland, or was. Now it's part of Karelia, in Russia. What about you? You from anywhere in particular?" A smile spread on her face. This was the sort of thing that she usually missed when she was traveling; spending actual amounts of time with people, and learning things about them. Fun, fun, she got to stay in one place for a while and do so. With many people.

As Caia started questioning Niv, Siik swam around in the pond a bit, exploring the bottom and the shores. A few frogs croaked indignantly at her when she disturbed their rest in the sun. Whoops.

The little green frog looked up at the large creature, looming around, making large waves wash over its lily pad. Silly thing. First freezing, then disturbing with large waves. It croaked its indignation as a particularly large swell splashed over the green rubbery leaf, and sent the frog tumbling into the water. There, it swam down and burrowed into the mud, croaking quietly about the commotion.

Siik watched the frog swim off with a smile. Who knew that the creature was thinking? Either way, they were adorable little things, frogs, and she was happy to have seen one. Water creatures were agreeable, most of the time. Ice creatures were obviously her favorite, but things that lived in water were just as wonderful.

However, the water was starting to feel particularly wet, so Siik waded out to the side, to the soft grass she was sitting in earlier, and collapsed into it, face first. She then rolled over, facing the sun, water dripping down the sides of her face, arms out, accepting the beautiful blue sky, like she wanted to give it a hug. The sun began to warm her fingertips and nose, spreading throughout her body.

"Ihana..." She murmured, shutting her eyes.

Nivek really did enjoy the feeling of water getting splashed in his face, he hadn't been swimming in a long time, a pleasure only succeeded by very warm sunlight, but it was one of the pleasures that in his mind should only happen once in awhile or it would ruin its 'taste' and become sour and bitter.

He realized that caia was talking to him, "oh, im from.... Babylon and if i get anymore specific than that you wouldn't know what i was talking about and i would lose you."

Caia laughed at Nivek
"I doubt it, but alright." She stated, dipping her head under the water again. She surfaced, spitting a spout of water into the air, before wading to the edge. She climbed out, only remaining wet for a few seconds before she appeared as if she'd been sitting in the sun for an hour. She sat down next to Siikriiti and smiled
"So Karelia, Russia. Interesting. Myself? I'm from the Iberian Peninsula. May be Greek, but I was raised in what's now Spain." She stated, tipping her head slightly and smiling "So are you going back in, or do you want me to dry you off?"

The sun beat down, and Siik shrugged. "Eh, I'm not going back in. I'm already at that stage where after you get out of the water and sit in the sun, the water is twice as cold when you go back in."

"Spain, hm? Impressive. Do you speak Spanish at all? Just out of curiosity,since you were raised there." Languages were like candy. They were sweet on the tongue, and easy to love. Even when she tried out a new one, Siik would take to it easily, trying to pick up whatever she could. Being a traveler made her pick up a few phrases in many different languages. Most of them had to do with money exchange or inquiring about bathroom facilities or hotels.

Siik sat up, feeling a sort of prickly feeling on the nape of her neck. Her hand went up, pushing her hair out of her eyes. It had finally gotten just long enough to curl slightly into her eyes, and it bothered Siik to no end. But pushing it away was part of a habit. What had really brought her to attention was the feeling of someone a lot more powerful than her watching them. And then her black eye caught a glimpse of a figure coming towards them.

The person had a stately posture, and exuded pompousness. Whoever it was obviously knew they were important, and was going to rub it in their faces...

Siik muttered, "Caia, you wouldn't by chance be cutting right now? Because, I think the combined efforts of someone half in this school who didn't go sign in in the right places, and someone cutting class could really get whoever that is pissed off... Tell me. Which teacher would come whup our asses for this?" She glanced worriedly at the approaching figure, striding across the lawn. As much as she liked to goof off and didn't mind the consequences, she at least wanted to make a semi-decent first impression. That is, not get in detention or the likes on the first day. She glanced at Niv, still paddling around in the water. "Or you, Nivek. Where're you supposed to be right now?"

"What? oh, nowhere, had a free period" he got up out of the water and pushed the hair out from his eyes, "why whats wrong?"

Nivek saw the figure then turned toward his companions, "one of you in trouble?" Nivek never really got in trouble, he normally stayed away from it. He did play small tricks at times but never anything to big. Niveks little brother got into trouble all the time, only Nivek had to face the consequences, thank the gods that his brother wasn't allowed to come with him, then all hell would break lose, figuratively speaking of course.

Caia shaded her eyes with her hands, squinting towards the figure.
"I thiiiiink that's Athena." She stated, pulling on her t-shirt before quickly using her power to dry off Siikriiti and Nivek. She cracked her neck and wandered forward, meeting the pretty auburn haired woman half way. She gave a smile and a tiny wave
"Hey 'Thene. How are you?" She asked, her tone polite and decidedly neutral, she seemed a little unsure as to how the woman would react. Athena looked her up and down, her pale grey eyes observing the girl for a moment. The goddess gave a somewhat amused smile and shook her head
"Caia Mei, aren't you supposed to be in Calculus right now?" She asked, giving her a look of mild disapproval. Caia blinked and gave her an infectious grin
"I don't know, is it one yet?" She asked in an innocent voice. Athena paused, before letting out a light laugh
"I don't know how you manage to pass, Caia. You skip half your classes." She stated, Caia gave a shrug
"Just brilliant like that, I guess. So what are you doing out and about, cuz?" Caia asked, tipping her head a little. Athena gave a small smile and adjusted her glasses
"Same as you, I suppose. Enjoying the beautiful weather. Who are your friends?" She questioned, peering past Caia at Siikriiti and Nivek. Caia smiled a little
"Ah. Siik, Nivek, this is Athena. She teaches weaving. 'Thene, this is Siikriiti and Nivek, they're new." Caia introduced. Athena gave a playful wave and a pretty smile
"Nice to meet both of you. Are you cutting as well?"

Siik immediately felt better. She was a bit skittish around teachers still; the thought of someone else having to control her life after so many years of not having a figure of authority was distasteful to Siik. But Athena seemed easygoing enough.

"Nice to meet you, Athena. Skipping class? Not technically, no.... I'm in the process of checking in. The fact that a simple process is taking me all day is unimportant. It's just being prolonged by the gorgeous day." In demonstration of this statement, Siikriiti's face turned skyward, multicolored eyes closed, basking in the warmth of the sun. "Though, shade IS starting to sound appealing, in a lack of burn sort of way."

Athena smiled. She hadn't felt like disciplining them as it was, but this was just a better excuse not to. A nice day, and if anyone asked, she could just say that she had thought Caia had been told to show new students around.

A quiet growl, unheard by the rest of them, alerted Siik to the fact she was rather hungry. Hungry led to food, and food was in the cafeteria, and the caf was going to become an ice rink later... This train of thought brought a grin to her face as Siik asked, "Hey, Caia, Nivek. I'm a bit hungry. I think I've successfully not eaten yet today, out of nerves. Now that those have finally began to mind their own business, I think some food is in order."

"I was getting a little hungry myself," he turned and started walking in the direction of the lunchroom, but then turned again and walked over to athena, "I'm sorry i forgot to introduce my self, I'm Nivek Arres." he shook he hand. "now let's eat."

Caia grinned, before throwing up her arms in a touch down gesture
"Foooooood!" She cried, grinning widely. Her grin was enthusiastic, but somehow, didn't reach her eyes. "Give me a minute to put some clothes on, though. Meet you guys in the Caf?" She asked, before turning and jogging off to her dorm. She threw on a pair of ripped jeans, a black shirt and a pair of converse, before bounding down the the cafeteria. She lingered in the corner, ignoring the odd looks her fellow students gave her. Caia wasn't the most popular student, mostly because everyone she was batshit insane (after all, Nova was one of her best friends), but also because she could (and had) beat the crap out of some of the biggest jocks in the school. She smirked to herself
"Ahhh, nothing like a little Jock Poaching." She muttered, before sighing and leisurely wandering over to Siikriiti and Nivek
"So, my darling noobs, are you ready to partake in your first 'meal' here at the 'prestigious' academy?"

Siik looked at Caia, and grinned. She had a feeling she couldn't've found anyone better to introduce her to school life. Seemed like it'd be nice.

"Please, tell me your school food is edible. There are always terrible stories about school food..."

The amount of people there was a little overwhelming; Siik, as a general rule, didn't like crowds of people unless she could blend. And this was the least blendable group of people she had ever seen.

The lunchroom was big, and she imagined it momentarily with no people, no tables, and full of ice... It would be a perfect rink. Especially if she could somehow rig up a little bit of snow falling... It wouldn't be too hard, with the moisture in the air here. She glanced at Caia. "You know, after lunch would probably be a perfect time to freeze this. If you're still up for it, that is."
