First Person
The forest, a couple kilometers away from Tenochtitlan
About 5 in the evening

Oh, look, and there were the pyramids. The ones hidden waaay in the jungle, that no tourists would dare travel to, and a lot of the locals had tales of hauntings there. So no one would disturb me. Gorgeous... But at that moment, I KINDA wished that I had someone with me to share the moment with. Golden sunlight, lighting up the forest, and illuminating master craftsmanship of the great stone places of worship that were not covered in vines. Absolutely beautiful. On a whim, I searched my pockets, finding a crumpled piece of napkin from earlier that day, took out a pen and a green one, and did a quick rendition of it, two colors only. It hardly did the scene justice, but hell. It still looked pretty.

Once finished with that, I walked up to the nearest one, looking for a way to the top. There was about a ten foot vertical wall in front of me before it became stair-like, so I grabbed a vine, and tangled myself in it, pulling up the ten feet, and then starting to climb the side of the pyramid.

"It's a beautiful evening for a hike up the side of a pyramid."

The forest didn't answer back, even though it was noisy enough. I chuckled.

"Yeah, not very talkative myself today either... Though, honestly, I do wish there were someone else here. I mean, yeah, they'd probably think I was crazy... OH!"

I always forgot about this. I sat down where I was, searching for slightly more acceptable material, and found a pad of paper. I grabbed an assortment of drawing materials from my pocket, and sketched out the outline of a panther. I began to fill it in with as many colors as possible, but always letting them fade naturally into one another. And then, in tiny letters, I wrote my specifications on the side of the page. This wasn't strictly necessary, but it helped me concentrate. The size, personality, and whatnot.

And I concentrated.

Soon enough, a multicolored panther was standing in front of me, and it looked slightly exasperated. It growled, back in it's throat, and I heard it as, How dare you insult me by making me these colors. I'll be a laughingstock.

A grin came to my face. "Don't worry, I'll have you back on paper before you run into any other panthers. C'mon, Bix. I just wanted some company. Sorry for making you rainbow; next time I won't."

She was a character in my mind that I brought to life a lot, when no one else was around. A bit of a companion.

We then turned, and walked up the side of the pyramid, occasionally conversing, but mostly saving our breath until we got to the top.

OOC: Of course! :D Come, play on the pyramids with me and Bix. Can you do first person? I know lots of people on here are used to third.

I stood in the jungle, not too far from Tenochtitlan. The jungle did a wonderful job of taking it over again. Though, the ground was still fairly solid. The Aztecs were very smart people. They were artists in their own nature, their carvings ornate. I had only come to sight see, but I almost wish I had brought my sketch pad. Well, that was what my memory was for, right?

I smiled. Yes, I remembered the Aztecs before the Spaniards had taken over. I despised Hernan Cortes. I knew that Montezuma II could be an asshole, but the people did not deserve what Cortes had brought down upon their land. November 8th was still a solemn day for me, despite the fact that I had not seen my friends for quite a few years before he came. Although I lived nearby during my childhood, I was not allowed to vacation often.

I had already toured what was left of Templo Major before steering to the outer cities. If only the streets were once again filled with Macehualli and Pochteca.

I wanted my friends, Atzi especially. Although she was the daughter of Tlaloc she had not acquired his immortality. Atzi had been the epitome of fun, we had run around terrorizing the tecuhtili.

It was all fun and games then. Ullamaliztili was one of the best games, at least in my opinion. If only I had an ulli I would have played some. Atzi and I had gotten pretty good at the game, her thin frame looked funny under all the deerskin guards.

I loved the sunlight, still warm on my face, it did not feel like a quarter past 5 to me. I was awake, alive, invigorated by my decision to visit the ruins. If only I had thought to sacrifice something to their memory. If only Atzi was here to talk too.

OOC: I am so sorry that it took soooo long. >.< Totally forgot. I hope this makes up for it.

Bix was watching out for me, and I was laying on the top of a pyramid. It was very relaxing. Bix purred, almost a growl, a warning. 'Someone's down there...' I yawned. I was sleepy; climbing the pyramid was lots of work. "Then, Bix, go get that someone, and bring them up here!" A condescending glance was shot my way. 'You know other people can't understand me! And I'm rainbow!'

I sighed, sitting up, and scratching the big cat behind the ears, and said, "Alright, alright." The scrap of paper I drew her on was in my pocket, and I willed her back onto it, modifying some size requirements, and making it so that whoever was down there would be able to understand her, as long as Bix wanted them too. And I willed her back to life.

She was a bit bigger, and she looked at herself, and growled at me, 'I'm still rainbow.' I stuck out my tongue. "Yeah, well. You look pretty. Now, Bix, pretty please?" Her green eyes rolled, but she jumped down the side of the pyramid, going faster than I would ever be able to. It was amazing to watch, the grace and beauty of how she moved.

On the ground, Bix came across a girl who smelled familiar, like this forest, but saltier, and with lots more water. A low purr, deep in her throat, translated to, 'Hello. I'm Bix, and my punk of a creator would like to know if you'd like to join him on top of the pyramid?' She gestured with a nod of her head towards the massive structure. 'I can bring you up, if need be.'

OOC: Hm, a little short. My next one will be longer, promise. :) And yeah, it's fine.

I looked at the mammoth rainbow colored panther that charged towards me. It's intentions were not to harm me, I could tell my the way she moved. I guess you could call in animal instincts. Still, in alarm, I could feel the hair on the back of my neck rise. The urge to change was intense, the urge to bolt flooded my body. Still, I stood still.

'Hello. I'm Bix, and my punk of a creator would like to know if you'd like to join him on top of the pyramid? I can bring you up, if need be.'

"Well Bix, I am sure I can manage to get to the top, thank's for the invite. I like your pelt." I smiled. The rainbow colors were amusing and looked good on her. As for being helped to the top, I was not too thrilled with that thought. Instead, I would take my own form.

Heck, this creator must not be natural, so why should she act like I am too. I could feel my form tug and pull and eventually rest into my dog form. I shook out my fur. I loved being on four legs, many years alone had caused me to become accustomed to it. I had lived with many different packs of Coydogs. I loved every second of it. Only recently had I decided to try and join the real world. I was trying to make peace with my homeland...but it always seemed too far away. Like a firefly, always fluttering, blinking, but my hands were heavy, never able to grasp it.

I was not sure if I would be able to talk to Bix in this form, but I tried. 'I am Keahi. Meet you at the top?'

I immediately turned toward where I had seen Bix run from, catching onto her scent, I followed it. My four legs enjoyed the running much more than just two would have. It wasn't before I stood in front of this creator.

Bix tensed slightly as the girl started to change into a dog. No matter how much of a supernatural panther she was, it was in her nature to be uncomfortable around dogs. But she quickly shook the feeling, and replied, 'Meet you at the top.' And bounded up, powerful muscles taking her up the side of the pyramid again.

The top of this pyramid was extremely high in the air. I loved it. I pulled various smooth pieces of wood from my pockets with metal connectors on the ends, and created an easel, facing southern. I did the same to the top, extending so it had about a width of my spread out arms. Once it was set up, I put pencils and pens on the tray, and clothes pinned pieces of paper to the easel, and started doing some random sketches. Bix again, but black this time, her normal color... A character he had made up, green skin, blue hair, lavender eyes, pouring out M&M's into her hands in fascination... A sunset, with the sun being electrical blue, and colors fading from there, instead of gold... A golden feather on a scale, balancing a world filled with coal. I looked at the various things I had drawn, in such detail, and got a bit of a headache, and lay back down on the pyramid top, staring at the sky.

I heard the sounds of animals running, and sat up, finding Bix sitting in front of me, and a white dog, looking curiously at me. I sighed, and said, "Bix, did you really cause all that commotion because of a dog? I thought we'd gotten over your obsession with dogs..." I ruffled it's ears with a smile. The smooth and silky white fur was beautiful.

Bix paced around the top, checking out the adjustments I had made, and then purred lazily, 'No, she turns into a human. A very pretty one, at that. Named Keahi.' I raised an eyebrow, looking at the beautiful white dog before me.

"Oh, well then." I brushed myself off, and bowed to the figure before me. "It's an honor to meet you, Keahi. Welcome to one of the hidden pyramids, and my home. I'm Izel." Pulling out of the bow, I grinned. "Would you like something to eat, perhaps? Maybe a drink?" I walked over to my easel, grabbing a blank piece of paper and a few colors, and walking back to my previous spot.

I lazily sat back down, leaning against one of the turret-like blocks that were on the top edge of the pyramid, looking at her curiously.

The sun was beginning it's long decent in the western skies, just barely beginning to show a deeper gold color in the blue sky. It would be a gorgeous evening. I was glad I had been able to come home for it.

When I saw the other godling I hesitantly altered my form. His touch had felt pleasant but it was unnerving at the same time.

"A drink would be swell." I said as my body was completely human again. "It's a pleasure to meet you Izel." my eyes focused on each of his wonderful drawings taking in the beautiful composition of each. I yearned to take out my own drawing supplies, but they were in Hawaii, a place I would never visit again.

"Your home is very beautiful." I said tentatively. I too looked out across the western sky. Their golden hue was pleasing to my eyes. I was glad that I had decided to stay in Tenochtitlan that day. Glad that I had met someone like me. The years that I had spent in the Coydog pack had been weary, now that I had decided to move on, it was nice to meet new people.

It was so interesting, to have another immortal around. It sort of made me happy, as well. What were the chances of one wandering around the forest, and finding one randomly in Mexico, yeah? She seemed nice enough, even if she tended to set Bix on edge, a bit.

"Open bar, it is." I put together a few pieces of paper, and sketched a table, low and easy to create, and then put a few different drinks on it. There was a yellow china teacup, filled with warm tea, a clear glass, foam slowly traveling down it's side, of amber colored beer, a bottle of tequila and shot glasses (my favorite of the lot) and for the fun of it, a silver engraved goblet with a opaque black liquid inside, steaming slightly. Drawing the objects took only a few moments, and detailing them a few more. As I finished creating the tableful of drinks, I added my will, and a bit of flavor from my mind into the image, and a table was sitting solidly between Keahi and me. I swept my hand in a grand gesture, with a grin. "You may take whatever you wish. I can always make more."

Her eyes caressed over the horizon, and I got the feeling she enjoyed the sunset nearly as much as I did. Sharing such a beautiful thing was better than looking upon it alone, and I gazed westward a moment, and smiled. "Yes... Thank you. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it."

There was a moment of silence, just beautiful, pure silence. The innocence of observing nature's unique beauty with another. Amazing. But I turned away, back to the table, to see sun reflecting off of the glasses. I smiled, and poured myself a shot of tequila, enjoying the color of the spirit.

"So... Where're you from, Keahi? Not around here, your accent isn't right..." I smiled at her, swirling the shot glass in my hand. "Islander, maybe?"

OOC:You know, I think I've met you twice. Once on the train, once here.
